Job Summary and Qualifications
LEVEL OF FORMAL EDUCATION REQUIRED:
- Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Associate degree in Applied Science or equivalent is preferred.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED? X YES NO
- RDCS by American Registry for Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) or
- RCS by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- BLS required per St. David’s policy
Preferred: CMRT, CVT, Certified Radiologic Technologist, ARRT or working toward registry eligibility.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Employee must besufficient to function independently in the performance of all diagnostic procedures covered in this job description. One year of experience as a Sonography Tech I is preferred.
