We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Engineer in Kentucky to join our team. This position involves building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers, identifying and cultivating business opportunities, and promoting our HVAC products, solutions, and services.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in HVAC or related industries, enjoys working independently, has a strong foundation in high quality customer service, and thrives in a performance-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, architects, school systems, mechanical contractors, shelter builders, and others.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned territory.
- Conduct on-site visits and product presentations to promote company offerings.
- Collaborate with inside sales and operations teams to ensure top tier customer experience.
- Stay informed on product updates, market trends, and competitive activity.
- Attend trade shows, training sessions, and company meetings that will require overnight travel.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
- Maintain a high level of organization and project management.
- Present yourself in a professional manner and a well-maintained appearance

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in outside sales, preferably in HVAC or similar industry
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and industry practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Personal drive to providing high quality customer experiences.
- Coach-able and mold-able mindset. Eager to learn and grow in a constantly changing industry
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with email and other forms of electronic communication
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record as travel will be required (including some overnight trips).
- Must be able to pass a background check and qualify for access to K-12, government, and high security buildings or sites
