Position Overview
Little Kentucky Smokehouse is seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Technician to support daily operations within our production facility. This role involves a variety of maintenance duties throughout the plant, including troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations.
The ideal candidate is mechanically skilled, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and complete repairs in a timely manner
- Conduct preventative maintenance throughout the facility
- Assist with a variety of maintenance duties around the production plant
- Inspect equipment and identify potential maintenance concerns
- Replace or repair mechanical components as needed
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Work collaboratively with production and management teams to minimize downtime
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of working mechanical experience
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills
- Ability to work on a variety of production equipment and machinery
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and reliability
