Location : Lexington and Surrounding Areas
Part-time to Full-time (25-40 hrs ; must be able to work longer hours as needed)
Salary $10/hour *Possible raise after 90 days
Monday – Friday (Occasional Saturdays in Spring/Summer)
8 am – 5 pm (longer hours as needed)

Designs by Denise is a full service landscape & maintenance company. We focus on bringing the beauty of Horticulture to all of our clients for both home and business. Designs by Denise takes pride in providing all of our clients with the best customer service and landscaping in central Kentucky! Our company is based in Nicholasville Kentucky, however we service all of Lexington and the surrounding areas.
Tasks
Pulling weeds and edging landscape beds
Hauling & spreading top soil, mulch, and gravel
Installation of trees, shrubs, perennials, & annuals according to the design
Installing & setting up planters/containers
Installation of weed fabric
Building retaining walls and/or natural stone walls
Trimming & Pruning shrubs, ornamental trees, and perennials
Laying of Sod or seeding lawns
Spring and Fall Clean-up of landscape beds, including leaf removal
Installation of down spouts, drainage pipes & fittings
Installation metal edging
Responsibilities
Be familiar with small equipment/tools such as shovels, rakes, blowers, weed-eaters, hedge trimmers, tillers, edgers, Dingo, etc.
Reports to work at the required time.
Maintains equipment and notifies the owner of any needed repairs.
Requirements
Must have reliable transportation
Work outside in all weather conditions
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to speak, read, and write English
Must be detail orientated
Able to frequently lift 100 lbs or more
Work independently or with a team
Drivers License with clean driving record
3-5 years landscape experience a must!
