A Louisville food manufacturer has an opening for an individual to oversee, coordinate and support in a variety of administrative tasks in: sales, customer service and logistics. The job entails substantial data entry responsibilities.
This position REQUIRES a degree in business, accounting or a similar field and a minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience.
Food related background (including chemicals, hospitality and pharmaceutical) is relevant and highly advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Point of contact for existing customers and new inquiries
- Purchase order entry
- Manage and coordinate outgoing freight
- Coordinate, track and manage contracts, bids and quotes
- Prepare, file and retrieve sales-related documents such as contracts and quotes
- Originate and renew sales proposals
- Maintain and update internal databases with account and customer information
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure proper pre-and post-sales services
- Communicate internally customer feedback
- Create detailed reports
- Assist handle or manage social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement
- Keep accurate records and document customer service actions and discussions
- Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities
- Handle, monitor, and resolve customer complaints
- Enter sales orders
The successful candidate should have: excellent expressive skills, high level computer knowledge especially in Excel and data bases, organization and independence. Understanding customer and employee service, sales and marketing.
