This position involves manually loading a production mixer with fertilizer materials and supporting the production process. The ideal candidate must be comfortable performing physically demanding work and repeatedly lifting 50-pound bags throughout the shift.Key ResponsibilitiesManually load and feed fertilizer mix/materials into a production mixerRepeatedly lift and handle bags or materials weighing up to 50 lbs.Measure, stage, and prepare materials for productionMonitor the mixing process and communicate any issues to the supervisorAssist with packaging, sorting, and other production duties as neededMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety procedures and production guidelinesPerform quality checks and ensure materials are properly handledWork efficiently to keep production running on scheduleAssist coworkers and supervisors with additional tasks as neededQualificationsPrevious manufacturing, production, warehouse, or material-handling experience preferred, but not requiredMust be able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs. throughout the shiftAbility to perform physically demanding work and remain on your feet for extended periodsStrong work ethic and dependable attendanceAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentGood attention to detail and ability to follow instructionsPositive attitude and willingness to work as part of a teamMust be willing to work mandatory overtime and occasional Saturdays
