Assembler Pay: $19.75/hour Schedule: 1st Shift – Monday–Thursday 6:00am–3:30pm, Friday 6:00am–10:00am (Overtime may extend 1–4 hours on Fridays)Position Summary: The Assembler is responsible for performing a variety of assembly operations to support the production of forklifts and material handling equipment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently and safely in a team environment.Key Responsibilities:Retrieve and assemble parts and subassemblies to build forklifts and related equipment.Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and process sheets.Install and connect components such as motors, brakes, steering units, batteries, and wiring harnesses.Use hand tools, power tools, and hoists to perform precise assembly tasks.Inspect and test equipment to ensure quality and functionality; make adjustments or repairs as needed.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following 5S principles.Meet production and quality standards within established timelines.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required.Strong mechanical aptitude and basic hand tool experience.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and maneuver heavier parts with lifting devices.Capable of performing repetitive motions and working in physically demanding conditions.Willingness to work overtime as needed.Must provide and wear safety shoes.Must be authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely.Additional Information: This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.
