2nd Shift Production Supervisor (Direct Hire) Location: Central Kentucky Schedule: 2nd Shift | 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM Pay: $65,000–$70,000/year (Direct Hire) Our client is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations on the production floor. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily production, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, coaching team leaders, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. ResponsibilitiesLead and support Group Leaders, Line Leaders, and production associatesEnsure production schedules, quality standards, and safety goals are achievedMonitor daily operations and resolve production, quality, and staffing issuesTrain, coach, and develop production team membersPromote continuous improvement (Kaizen) and lean manufacturing practicesCollaborate with HR, Engineering, Production Control, and other departmentsConduct employee evaluations, coaching, and performance managementMaintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality systemsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or related certifications preferredMinimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience leading teams of 50+ employeesKnowledge of lean manufacturing, Kanban, traceability, and production efficiencyStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsProficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) This is an excellent direct hire opportunity with a stable manufacturing company offering competitive pay, career growth, and the opportunity to make an immediate impact on production operations.
